Huacachina is a beautiful and memorable place. With 300-foot sand dunes surrounding it, and a large oasis lined by palm trees in the middle, Huacachina looks like a classical desert oasis that you might expect to find in Saudi Arabia or northern Africa. It is probably the most famous oasis in South America. Therefore it shouldn't be surprising that there are millions of photos of Huacachina on the internet. To find some of them, just type in Huacachina in the Google Image search, or go to Flickr.com and search for Huacachina there. If those photos don't convince you to add Peru's desert oasis to your itinerary, then nothing will.
